About These Stories…
These pieces I have created were inspired by various media I’ve watched throughout my life. I’ve spent countless hours building their worlds and working on their plots. I started writing because I wanted to write stories that I would want to read myself. I’m sharing them to challenge myself to keep creating and making more stories. I hope you enjoy!
Magic Vs Nature (WIP Title)
This is my first original story written. It’s a fantasy inspired story that I have plans to expand to several stories all within the same universe.
Synopsis: On a planet kept apart from the rest of the realms, a war broke out between the Elemental creatures that reside on the planet and the Faeries who were the self proclaimed rulers of the planet. 200 years later, the princess of the Faeries awakens after her father put her in a protective sleep until the war ended, only to find that she and her Faerie guardian are the only Faeries left. Now they must decide, do they leave the realm forever? Or is there a chance they could bring peace to the unbalanced nature?
A Journey Remembered
This one is a passion project. I’ve always had a soft spot for Western films and shows. And one thing I’ve always wanted to explore was the concept of going back in time and having to survive in that era. Whereas it is a romanticized story, I still want to attempt to convey the challenges of living in that time period.
Synopsis: Evelyn Anderson is a Professor of History at her local university. Her lonely life gets turned upside down when her colleague, Professor Holbert, the science professor of the university, creates a time machine and sends her back in time to the 1880s. She’s forced to adapt to a world without modern conveniences, but as she makes friends working at a saloon and falls in love with a local ranch owner, she wonders if she can really settle down and live a normal life in a different time period, or if this is all a dream.
Untitled Pirate Story (Future work)
This story is still in its first written concept and not yet ready to be published, but it will be a pirate/romance/fantasy story about a pirate crew that rescues a young woman from her abusive living situation. This story is my most ambitious one as it has a lot of characters and details, but it’s also the one I feel will be the most fleshed out. I’m excited to share it with the world in the future.
